10 Best Smartphones You Can Get For Under $200
There are many great smartphones out there, but some of them can cost well over $200! If you’re looking for something a little more budget-friendly, you’re in luck. Here are 10 of the best smartphones available under $200...
1) Moto G7:
The Moto G7 is a great option if you're looking for a phone with great features at an affordable price. It's compatible with both GSM and CDMA networks, so it'll work on most carriers. It also has a water-resistant coating and comes in six different colors to choose from. As of June 2019 the price range of the Moto G7 is between $219 and $280 which makes this a very budget friendly option.
The one thing we don't like about this model is that there isn't much internal storage space, only 32GB or 64GB depending on which model you buy.
If storage space isn't a problem for you then the Motorola G7 should be your next purchase!
2) Xiaomi Mi A2:
Xiaomi is one of the best Android smartphone companies in China, and its Mi A2 is a good example of that. The phone has a 5.99-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, which makes it perfect for multitasking. It runs on Android One, meaning you get a pure Android experience with no bloatware or unnecessary features. The Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM ensures lag-free multitasking and smooth gaming. There's 64GB of storage on board, but if you need more room there's also a microSD card slot to expand your storage by up to 256GB. On the back, there's a 12MP dual camera setup where both cameras have their own dedicated lens for color and monochrome imaging. There's also a 20MP selfie shooter on front.
3) Nokia 6.1:
The Nokia 6.1 is a 5.5-inch phone that's perfect for people who don't like large screens. It runs on Android 8.1 and has a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera, as well as a 3,000 mAh battery and 4GB of RAM. Plus, it's only $169! That's under budget, if you ask me. If you want to get into the iPhone ecosystem but not spend over $300, this is the device for you. Samsung Galaxy S9: Now here we have a good looking (and hefty) device with all the bells and whistles: it's equipped with an octa-core processor and 64GB of storage (but no expandable memory), plus a high-resolution AMOLED screen and dual 12 MP cameras at the back.
4) Honor 8X:
The Honor 8X is a smartphone that offers a premium experience for under $200. With a 6.5-inch screen and dual rear cameras, this device is perfect for those who want to take photos on the go. The battery life of the Honor 8X is impressive, with it lasting up to two days before needing to be recharged. The main downside of the Honor 8X is the lack of water resistance, making it less ideal for outdoor use during rainy weather or when around water. Additionally, the phone’s camera lacks features like 4K video recording and manual focus adjustment. Overall though, the Honor 8X is one of the best budget phones available today.
5) Samsung Galaxy J6+:
The Samsung Galaxy J6+ is one of the best smartphones you can get for under $200. It has a sleek design, an excellent camera, and the latest Android OS. It also has a sizeable battery that lasts all day long and a headphone jack for your favorite pair of wired headphones. Unfortunately, it does not have water resistance or wireless charging like some other models on this list.
6) Sony Xperia L3:
One of the best smartphones you can get for under $200 is the Sony Xperia L3. It features a 5.7 inch IPS LCD display, which will give you a great viewing experience. Plus, it has a long battery life and an 8MP camera that is perfect for taking pictures on the go! The only thing to be aware of with this phone is that it does not come with any water resistance capabilities, so if you want to take your phone swimming or around water I would recommend getting something else. Other than that, this phone really is a steal at under $200.
7) LG Q6:
The LG Q6 is a great phone for anyone who wants a device that can do it all. The sleek and lightweight design makes the phone comfortable to hold and easy to use, plus the 13MP camera takes beautiful photos. And with the ability to wirelessly charge your battery, you'll never have to worry about running out of juice again. ] Samsung Galaxy S8+: With an expansive screen, fast performance, and state-of-the-art camera technology, the Galaxy S8+ will keep you entertained from morning to night. Plus, with Bixby Voice on board, getting things done has never been easier.
] Moto G5S Plus: Motorola's newest release combines style and power in one package.
8) Huawei P Smart (2019):
Huawei's P Smart (2019) is one of the best smartphones you can buy for under 200. It has a 5.65-inch display, an Octa-Core Processor, and is available with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM depending on your storage size choice. Huawei’s Mate 20 Lite is an excellent option if you're looking for a smartphone that's both fast and affordable. It features a 6.3-inch screen, but it also has one of the fastest processors out there: Huawei Kirin 710 Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128 GB ROM, so it can run all sorts of games without any lag whatsoever.
9) Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus:
The Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus is a budget-friendly smartphone that comes with many of the same features and specifications as the pricier models. With a 4.7 inch screen, 4GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera, this phone is perfect for those looking for an affordable device with all the latest features. The Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus offers everything you could ask for in a mobile device: an HD display, dual SIM card slots, fingerprint sensor and Android Marshmallow operating system.
One thing to note about the WileyFox Swift 2 Plus is that it doesn't have any notification LED lights which can make it difficult to know when you're receiving notifications without checking your phone constantly.
10) Alcatel 3:
The Alcatel 3 is one of the few low-cost phones to offer a dual-camera setup. This phone has an 8-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There's also a 5.2 HD display and a fingerprint scanner built into the back of the phone for added security.
